Secure your wordpress to avoid suspension

We are writing this guide to help secure your wordpress blog installation. Recently we were notified about a number of defaced/hacked wordpress installation on one of our cPanel node (node16). You can check yourself and find out, if your installation is hacked/defaced.

• Inside "wp-content" folder, check for a folder "wflogs"
• If you find any file with name "attack-data.php" or "ips.php" or "config.php"
• Delete the entire director "wflogs"
• Update your wordpress to latest version

We request all shared/reseller plan users to investigate your wordpress installation. Due to constant high load due to some hacked installations of wordpress, we have no choice but to suspend such accounts.
